Poker table top - this is not a real table, but a surface that fits on a dining table. It has some design elements, like green felt and cup holders, to give the player the feeling of a real poker table. The tops can be very easily transported and they are not too expensive.
Folding table -this has a real poker table design and it is very practical because it can be packed when it is not used. It is a little more expensive than the t poker table tops, but also very easily transported. It is a good option for those who are beginners and are not quite decided yet, if they want to invest more money in buying a casino quality or a convertible poker table.
Any poker game needs also poker chips. Their role in the game is to simplify the procedure of keeping track of the bet or cashed out money. A chip can be worth one or five dollars. There are different types of poker chips. The best type are the ones called "The Las Vegas chips". They are identical and it is very hard to counterfeit them.
People don't only play poker in casinos or game halls. Most of the time they prefer the coziness of their own homes. And if they don't have enough funds to spend on a poker table, they may choose to create one themselves. And in retail stores there are lots of poker chips sets, in a large variety of prices and quality!
If you are/intend to be a poker player, it would be better to study the market first and look at online shops and then buy the poker table, accessories and chips. This way you'll enjoy a poker game, at a lower price, but without any reduction in quality.
